The African Mixed Exhibit has always been a major attraction at our forerunner, the Al Ain Zoo, and now we can present it on an even more dramatic scale. Come and marvel at this truly spectacular concentration of African big game, with giraffe, zebra, gemsbok, gazelle, ostrich, wildebeest and rhinoceros roaming freely on more than five hectares (12.2 acres) of wild, wide open space!
Our beautiful giraffes belong to the very rare species of Nubian giraffe, and the AWPR is one of the very few wildlife parks in the world to exhibit and breed this wonderful animal.
