Site Impacts

The construction of this development will involve large numbers of people and a great deal of enormously heavy plant and equipment, which could clearly have a disastrous effect on the existing land. So we have taken a number of precautions and put principles into action which will ensure that any disturbance and intrusion will be minimal.

Development areas and building "footprints" will be carefully planned to create the lowest possible impact to the site, vegetation and water channels.

Plant and equipment can only be stored and moved within strictly zoned "utility corridors" which will be combined wherever possible with existing or future roads and pedestrian paths.

Any intrusive infrastructure will be screened from view with vegetation, or landscaped terrain. All undisturbed areas of soil and vegetation will be fenced and off-limits to construction and any disturbed sites will be repaired as soon as possible.

Finally, thanks to careful scheduling of the development, we will have time between the various construction phases to look closely at the environmental impact and make adjustments if needed.
