The Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre blends elements of museum, science centre and gallery to create a stunningly unique space that will not just inform but positively inspire its visitors.
The exhibits honour the late Sheikh Zayed and his conservation efforts, at the same time unveiling some of the hidden wonders and the often overlooked beauty of the UAE's deserts. It is hoped that guests will be imbued with a new found sense of reverence and respect for the local environment.
All this takes place within a building that meets and even exceeds the world’s very highest standards of sustainable energy efficiency.
