World Wide Fund (WWF)

The World Wide Fund for Nature is one of the world’s largest and most respected conservation groups.

Its presence in the Middle East can be traced back several years, to when it offered invaluable support and expertise to an initiative to save the Arabian oryx. The association with the region was formalised in 2001, when the WWF set up a UAE Project Office. Today, the UAE team plays a highly active role in promoting conservation, biodiversity and the sustainable use of natural resources.
