Haleema Al Hammadi


Chief Property Development Officer - Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort (AWPR)

 

In 2008 Haleema Al Hammadi was appointed as the Chief Property Development Officer for Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort (AWPR). Under her leadership, the Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort will develop into a sustainable destination that aims to be an internationally renowned centre of excellence for conservation and eco-friendly living.

Ms Al Hammadi’s role at AWPR is to implement the design and construction of the 900 hectare project and oversee the integration of sustainable practices in its design, construction, and operation

Prior to joining AWPR, Ms Al Hammadi worked with ALDAR Properties for two years as a Senior Projects Manager and Team Leader. In her capacity, she coordinated with various functional managers to maintain quality standards for the various departments in an AED 15 billion new town project in Abu Dhabi. This included identifying the development mix based on a market study, running a financial appraisal to ensure the development’s profitability, and managing the sales and leasing aspects, consultants, and the asset management teams.

From 2004 to 2005, Al Hammadi worked with Mubadala Development Company as the Development Manager, and from 2002 to 2003 she worked as a Project Architect for the UAE Offsets Group. She also spent five years working as an Architect with the Directorate of Military Works in Abu Dhabi.

Al Hammadi has an Executive MBA in Business Administration from the University of Sharjah, and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from the United Arab Emirates University in Abu Dhabi.

She is a Professional Member of the Urban Land Institute, the UAE Society of Engineers and the Society for the Advancement of Management.
