Mr. Ghanim Al Hajeri is the Director General of Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort (AWPR). Reporting to him is the Senior Management Team consisting of the following divisions:
• Collection, Conservation & Education
• Park Operations
• Property Development
• Corporate Services
• Finance & Accounting
• Marketing & Communication
• Strategy & Planning
• Project Management Office
Mr. Al Hajeri joined AWPR in August 2010; bringing with him many years of senior management experience within Governmental as well as non-Governmental organizations. He has held senior management positions up to and including Board level.
Prior to joining AWPR, Mr. Al Hajeri was working for Emirates Bank where he managed various divisions including Corporate, Commercial, and Private Banking. Before that, he had spent many years in the UAE Army; leaving the service as Lieutenant Colonel.
Apart from his professional career in the Public and Private sectors, Mr. Al Hajeri served the Al Ain Club as a member of the Board of Directors, and the UAE Volleyball Association as its President.
A UAE national, Mr. Al Hajeri was born and raised in Al Ain. He pursued his Business education in the UK, US and UAE. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the American University in Washington D.C. as well as BBA and EMBA from Zayed University.
