With accelerating rates of species extinction and habitat loss throughout the world, conservation initiatives will become increasingly important on a local and global level.

Our partnerships with international conservation groups such as San Diego Zoological Society, World Conservation Union and Species Survival Commission provide opportunities for these conservation and educational initiatives on a dramatic and innovative scale.

Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort, the expansion project of Al Ain Zoo, will be managed primarily for the conservation of desert wildlife and habitats. The plants and animals that comprise this unique collection will be managed using the world's best practices in conservation management, health, welfare, quarantine husbandry, and genetics.

A primary objective is the education and inspiration of young people, establishing a commitment to conservation and the environment and nurturing the next generation of scientists and environ-mentalists. While being a memorable entertainment experience, it will also provide true learning and life enriching events. Guests, inspired by their visit, will become passionate advocates for conservation and sustainability and be inspired to integrate these concerns
into their daily life. We intend for the experience to be so profound that it
will set new standards for design and provide an innovative arena for the interaction of people and wildlife.
